Shannon Gray
MS, RDN, LDN
Hello, my name is Shannon!
Shannon has had a strong connection with food since she was a student-athlete at West Chester University. Her connection with food then developed during her time at Ohio University completing her dietetic internship and Masters Degree in Nutrition Sciences. Shannon also holds a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University.
Before joining the OnPoint team, Shannon worked as a clinical dietitian in long-term care and rehabilitation centers in the surrounding Philadelphia area.
As a dietitian, my goal is to give you the nutrition knowledge you need to make long-term, life-improving changes to your diet and lifestyle.
I consider myself fortunate to be in a position where I am constantly expanding my nutritional knowledge with credible sources. With all of the contradicting nutrition advice out there, I could have felt completely lost.
When we seek to better nurture our bodies, we often have a deeper purpose in mind. I found myself chasing better health to improve my performance as an athlete, combat my frustrations with severe cystic acne, and overhaul the health of myself and my family after my young, healthy father endured triple bypass.
My wish for you is that as you continue down the path to better health, your motivation will also drive your enthusiasm for proper nutrition.
Through the OnPoint Connections Nutrition Basics for Weight Loss Program, I am excited to give you the knowledge and tools you need to build the foundation and confidence you need to reach your nutrition goals.
It’s time to take charge of your health!
